A brilliant no thrills trail ultra. Any profits are given to a local charity which is a refreshing change and sets the tone for the event. Relatively flat so a good first ultra or as its early in the season a good test of your winter training. Attracts all abilities.
No frills out and back race from Aberdeen to Banchory. Unique medals & race beers to all finishers. Loads of people run this as their first ultra and keep coming back for more. Non technical, mostly flat route. Excellent for beginners and regulars alike.
My first ultra so no idea what to expect, Well organised fun and George's training plan worked a treat.
simple out and back, great race.
