Brilliant race. Well organised and friendly aid stations. Would prefer an extra water station. It was a long hot run from last water station for last 7 miles. Would recommend this as a great race. Loved the off road and even the big hill. Will be back next year. Also a Fareham Crusader.
Great event, 27 miles of true off road challenge. I agree another feed station between 20 and 27 would help. Loved the whole route, a mix of changing terrain but all scenic. Feed station crews very helpful and friendly. We (Fareham Crusaders) had 6 running, more next year I reckon. Many thanks.
The second year running Arun River and still a very enjoyable, friendly local event. Stunning scenery and route along the river bank and up onto the South Downs Way. The volunteers and organisation is smooth, cheery and with a welcome. Jay, Chris and Danny put on a great show for Sussex Trail Events. See you at the next race!
A great event. Superb organisation. Aid stations perfect with cheery and helpful volunteers. Everything spot on. Well done Jay, Chris and Danny
Great low key value for money race, cracking route and organisation. maybe an additional CP after Arundel on return as could have done with additional hydration. Will be back next year :-) #runhappy
Lovely scenery and a nice mixture of terrains. Free breakfast at the end was great
Great race from the always fun Sussex Trail Events.
Extremely friendly and enjoyable race. Perfect for the first time trail marathoner as well as experienced runner. Course well marked and aid stations well stocked. I'll definitely be returning.
