This was such a fantastic race!!! Lake Garda is absolutely beautiful. We went to a great Trattoria the night before for some carbo loading (homemade pasta and duck ragu). Race Day - we were pumped! Truly felt like we were in Italy! Great buzz at the start line. The trail was VERY well marked - with bright yellow markers every few hundred metres. There were so many friendly volunteers - who were so helpful and supportive. The track itself was super tough. A huge hill at the start. Lots of beautiful trail running once it flattened out up top. There was a quite a lot of running on tarseal (which I personally didn't mind). The finish line was a HOOT! Great music, fantastic food and drinks, and amazing prizes. A+ - I would definitely come back to do this race. Make sure you stay in Gargnano. :-D

Beautiful scenery, very well marked trail and an abundance of volunteers to make it a fantastic event. There is a decent climb to start and 10km is on cobbled/tarmac, through lovely villages in the mountains and amazing views of Lake Garda, finishing on the lake side with great prizes for the 1st-3rd! 27km in 2015
