Wonderful route, starting gently along the canal path out of Talybont-on-Usk in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons, following the Taff Trail (depending on your distance), high into the hills.

The 10K runners will wind through the woods and around part of the Talybont Reservoir before heading back to the finish.

The rest of the runners will carry on along the Taff Trail and past the Reservoir before starting the climb into the Brecons Hills.

After the first climb the Half Marathon runners will head back along different trails and woodland to the finish.

The Marathon and Ultra runners will carry on the Taff Trail high into the Brecon Beacons, taking in Pen y Fan and following trails around the high, stunning Beacons before coming down off the hills and heading along the canal back to Talybont-on-Usk.
