The Castle 2 Coast (50 miles, Drogo Castle to Wembury): cut off 17 hours.

This no baby ultra! It’s a fully fledged Dartmoor Crossing, following the Two Moors Way and the Erme- Plym Trail, which will require some self navigation skills.

Starting in the luscious Teign Valley, in the grounds of Drogo Castle, you’ll follow the river Teign west, to the north of Chagford before heading south and east to Hameldown Ridge and on to New Bridge via Dr Blackall’s Drive, before crossing the famous River Dart.

If you don’t want to get your feet wet, the old clapper bridge will take you over the Avon and you’ll head up to the Puffing Billy Track, which takes you directly to the southern edge of Dartmoor, marked by Ivybridge, where the route picks up the Erme-Plym Trail.
