Alternate Distances: 216KM/135M

DIFFICULTY Race Difficulty Intermediate

Entry From £45 GBP

We are offering runners the chance to run Day 1 of the Ring O' Fire 135 Mile Coastal Ultra Marathon as a separate race.

If you prefer a single stage race over a shorter distance this may be the race for you.

This 35.7m / 57km race is a very challenging ultra marathon in its own right.

Runners will encounter a wide variety of terrain, including sandy and pebble beaches, steep cliff top paths, headlands, rocky coves, farmland fields and quaint seaside fishing villages.

The route is predominately trail, but there are small sections of public road.

There are also gates and stiles to negotiate throughout the length of the course.

We call it the Firelighter!

2018. This is a fantastic taster of the Anglesey Coastal Path and the Ring o' Fire Ultra (The big brother). A total running experience on a variety terrain (mostly paths/trails, sandy and pebbly beaches, grazing fields and short sections of road). No tshirt but a Buff with the race logo. Great encouragement at each aid station. Back again enxt year for the win!

2018 Firelighter. A great small race with excellent organisation, friendly atmosphere and well-stocked aid stations. Starting at 1pm means a nice relaxed day. Lovely scenery and wildlife, with a bit of a hilly sting in the tail!
