GB24, 21st/22nd July 2018. What a fantastic event! It was tough, but that's what we signed up for. In saying that, conditions under foot were very good. I suppose some would say the paths were too good and would have liked a bit more mud and trickier rocky sections. Best of all was the support staff and volunteers. They were on hand throughout the 24 hours and went out of there way to support us with a smiling face. A t-shirt would have been nice and they ran out of Silver medals so I had to 'make do' with a gold. The venue may be different next year, but I'd love to give it another go and earn a gold medal!
