First time at this kind of event and was part of a team. Absolutely loved it - was friendly and well organised. Weather could have been kinder and the green hill a little less steep but had a ball. Will be back next year. Thank you Danny and crew.
Awesome event with a great running community feel. I have been suffering with anxiety and depression and this event was a fantastic way to start enaging with like minded people. The mud and hills were immense and the rain just added to the fun. It was brutal, would I do it again....without a doubt. Thanks Danny and team
MUD is probably the single descriptive word needed, but oh so much more can be said. The organisation - as ever was fantastic, the comradery amongst runners suffering the same physical and mental problems - as always uplifting, the course - tough and demanding with very few moments you didn't have to concentrate on where you put your feet, what started as a grassy slope almost became an uphill nemesis. All said though there were oh so many fantastic personal as well as team challenges achieved, my hat goes off to everyone who took part and supported (families and DSRT Plymouth) this great event, rain, sunshine, mud, mud, mud and rain!It nearly brought tears to my eyes to be told at the end when presented my pint of ale (pre ordered) and medal that I had cracked 50 miles... an ever lasting memory... thank you Danny and crew.
This is the first time I have done any kind of event like this and it was well run with a great support team. The course was very challenging but great fun I will be back next year and maybe do the hope24.Great event that everyone should do.
Fantastic event! The organisers Danny and Pete are very approachable, friendly and helpful. Well organised with everything you need. Incredible, relaxed and sociable atmosphere. Feels like everyone is wishing you well and willing you on. Competition is friendly and people love to chat about how everyone is doing and share their stories and experiences. Great tech t-shirt and medal plus camping all included in the very reasonable price. Can't fault this event!! One of my favourites x
