If Carlsberg did running races.......... Quite simply the best vfm event you can find. Great organization, great crew, great course (unless you love tarmac) with a fun low pressure, low key environment. Not only is it probably the cheapest 24hr event you can find but there's NO hidden charges for camping, parking, friends visiting etc etc that you'll find at some other events. Love it!! ................ Everybody else should stay away and leave the fun to those of us who know we've already discovered the best race in the Country ;-)

Hope 24 epitomises everything that is great about the trail running community. Great atmosphere in the event village and around the course. Some amazing runners turn up every year but it doesn’t matter if you run 5 or 125 miles - everyone is encouraging and supportive. The entry fee gives you a medal, T-shirt, 2 nights camping and free parking which is an absolute bargain and the food and drink available is all at really reasonable prices as well. Can’t wait for next year!

15th-16th June 2019
A fantastic friendly, inclusive and fun event. I did this as my first event and a solo entry. The course was technical with hills and trail based which was brilliant. The views were stunning and the atmosphere all around the course was brilliant. The support from other racers made this so event so enjoyable and the organisation was slick and so well done. I loved every minute and will be back next year. Thanks to all who arranged

Hope 24 is a charity fundraising event, which feels more like a festival, the atmosphere is electric!
Each year Hope has improved, it must be hard to trump such a winning formula but this year's Hope 24 did not disappoint; An improved arena with more food and traders, an improved course (the best so far), more space to camp, new design t-shirt and other merch and a to-die-for, white metal medal.
The MC is hilarious, the music rocks, camping is included, professional event photos are free, the course is so well marked a sheep can follow it (and sometimes they do), the portaloos never run out of loo roll, and they have air fresheners!
Hope 24 is simply the best 24-hour trail ultra out there.

2019: The whole family had a great time. Children’s race was brilliant, suppliers great (big shout out to Dot-teas, cakes to die for), Pete for his ‘unusual’ announcements - round of applause, and of course the race itself, a hugely supportive and friendly affair where you set your own goals. Will be back next year!

Hope 24, 2019, Solo
My first Hope 24 event and it was awesome.
From registration to completion, this was a very professional, friendly and slick event.
Free camping, brilliant varied 5 mile trail run with really good facilities and fantastic marshals.
Ran with the Mrs and we both completed more distance than we had achieved before. By running over 40 miles.
We are definitely returning.

Hope24 2019 again didn't fail to empress. The course was challenging as always with its mix of hills and fast sections. The organisation of this event is great and Danny and Pete always make you feel welcome. This event is a must for the inexperienced or truly mad distance runner. Run 1 lap or 20 totally down to you. The support crews are excellent so is the social side. You can't help but make friends. And the food and drink is excellent.

What an event!! Great MC, great organisers and great atmosphere. The little things that I really liked about this event was the terrific route marking, it can sometimes be tough to figure out the way, especially in the dark. The others things was the toilet and water station out of the festival area, which is purely for the runners on route, no waiting for portaloos because lots of spectators are using them. Having said that, there were lots of portaloos anyway, which some events lack. Awesome medal and entry fee.. Overall well worth putting on your race calendar.
