What an event!! Great MC, great organisers and great atmosphere. The little things that I really liked about this event was the terrific route marking, it can sometimes be tough to figure out the way, especially in the dark. The others things was the toilet and water station out of the festival area, which is purely for the runners on route, no waiting for portaloos because lots of spectators are using them. Having said that, there were lots of portaloos anyway, which some events lack. Awesome medal and entry fee.. Overall well worth putting on your race calendar.

This was the 3rd year of doing this event and it gets better every time. The route is great, the atmosphere is fantastic and the organisation is top notch. Supporting people pushing their limits whilst also doing the best you can is fantastic. Will definitely be back next year.

What a brilliant weekend. It was the first time for me, ran in a team of 6, great fun. Tough, varied off road 5 mile course. Even the rain didn't dampen our spirits, very well organised, highly recommend race. Go for it, great challenge!

2017. What a weekend, fantastic atmosphere, great course, incredible support and in my home city. I cannot recommend it highly enough, I managed 45 miles, can't wait until next year when I hope to make 60. Danny Slay is a super star.
