This 50K lollipop style course that involves ~4500 ft of elevation gain has amazing views of the Cascade mountains, the sheer rock faces at Smith Rock State Park and the unique beauty of the grasslands. 75% of the course is on sweet single-track trails.

The 15-mile race quickly rises above the dramatic cliffs in one of Oregon’s most scenic state parks. With over 3,000 vertical gain, the route ascends to the top of Gray Butte with panoramic views of central Oregon and the Three Sisters.

Then your reward, an almost uninterrupted descent with spectacular views of the sheer rock faces that make Smith Rock State Park a mecca for climbers.

For those that don’t want to go 15miles or 50K, but still want incredible views and sweet single-track, then the 4M is a great option.

2015- Race was well organized with lots of positive vibes. Very challenging course along single track and two track roads. Big elevation climbed with some rolling hills through most of course. Steep descent at the finish was ultimate quad killer. Aid station support was awesome!
