Well I didn't run the 50 miller. I ran the Marathon relay, But we had about 18 people come up to this event from Southern California. Everyone loved the course and how well it was marked and the views where amazing. Even the 6.8 miles I ran where very challenging. The Reason for 3 stars and not more is because lack of sitting for runners . I saw several 50 miller runners eating their free meal on the ground due to lack of seats. Also there wasn't enough shuttles to take people back to there cars. We waited over an hour to catch a shuttle back to the parking lot. To see North Face give away some much money and yet have people that had been running for 10+ hours eating on the ground really turn my stomach. This race is a one and done for me.

Ran TNFECA 50k in 2015, loved it. This is a course to do at least once in your ultra career. Do it for the unbeatable views of the Pacific. Do it for the challenging elevation changes. Do it because it's incredibly well organized.
