A fantastic ultra to take part in (I did in 2014), especially for those who might be new to multistage races. Very well organised from start to finish.
Highlights and general points for this event:
-great scenery and beautiful route
-good time of year so weather was lovely last year
-more hilly than expected
-good crew
-great checkpoint food (flapjacks, small sandwiches, haribo, malt loaf and squash)
-hall to sleep overnight is easier than camping!
-they carry your bags to the end of day location
-dinner is included in the price and is normally good fuel for the next day (e.g. spag bol)
-they always organise a guest speaker which is always very interesting and also inspirational
-you finish with a free t-shirt and medal

All in all a great race and well worth considering if you are just beginning to take part in multistage ultras!
