Have experienced The Black Rat (32 miles) - 2015 and 2016, The Plague (64miles) - 2017 and marshelling - 2018, I have to say that this event is well organised, has a great vibe and the course is spectacular from each viewpoint.
Seriously recommend if you want a challenge, the Cornish coastal paths are not to be underestimated, but you'll be rewarded with huge satisfaction, excellent check points, brilliant support from people racing and volunteering and an excellent finishers party!
Overall atmosphere is absolutely top!

The Black RAT (32 miles) 11th August 2018
Having run the 20 mile route last year I was keen to take on the 32 this year. It's a lovely route with stunning scenery with lots of steep hills and steps. The organisation is great as is the support from the marshals and spectators along the way; well stocked feed stations and a lovely atmosphere overall. Really enjoyed it - my first ultra, won't be my last, will definitely do it again.
