Located in Santo Stefano Belbo (birthplace of Cesare Pavese), Cossano Belbo, Castiglione Tinella and Mango and the province of Cuneo, it is an event that crosses the beautiful and rugged hills that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage

Organized by ASD Dynamic VB Center with the support of the Piedmont Region, the intention is to promote this sector (as narrated by Cesare Pavese in his novels) from a sporting point of view. The Langhe is one of the most beautiful, picturesque and fascinating places in Italy, known for its wine and forest landscape.

A combination of breathtaking landscapes, with steep sloping hills and gentle slopes completely covered with vineyards. From the top of the mountain the view extends to the Alps beyond the Monte Rosa massif, a distance that disappears on clear days and reveals a wonderful and incredible scenery.

The area also offers excellent food, wine and dozens of houses where you can taste and drink local food and wine (Moscato, Barolo, Barbaresco, truffle).

A territory "still wild, even if transformed by man" with optimum slopes for this type of sporting competitions. On the track there are trails, dirt roads, gravel roads vineyards, forests and small villages with a lush vegetation. The course is executable and challenging but without visible sections, suitable for those who are well-trained.
This event has grown in popularity from 150 to 1,800 participants in the latest edition.

The three races available are named after Cesare Pavese’s novels, and all start at Piazza Umberto I, in S. Stefano Belbo:

  • Lavorare Stanca (Hard Labour), 54 km and 2800 m D +. Starting at 7:30 am (96% of the course is on dirt roads and trails). Qualifying race for the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc ®. This race is also part of the Grand Prix IUTA ultratrail 2018 and the solidarity Short Circuit Race ("I run to find the cure").
  • Paesi Tuoi (Your Villages), a 21 km 1100 m D +. Starting at 09:30 am (96% of the route is on dirt roads and trails).
  • Sali Scendi (Up and Down), a 10 km 550 m D + non competitive event. A Starting at 10.00 hours.

Other activities:

  • Nordic Walking trails, 21 km and 11 km, starting at 10:15am.
  • Wine and food trail walks, organized in 6 stages between vineyards and farms to allow the participants to taste the local products and excellent wine. Departures at 10.30.
  • Kids Fun Run at 11:00 am at the Piazza Santo Stefano Belbo, a run through the village centre for all children up to 13 years of age.

As part of the organizers’ intention to clearly combine sport and solidarity in this event, it is part of the 30 races of the CCS (shorted Solidarity) event, and ASD Dynamic is committed to donate part of the 2018 proceeds to help maintain the SHARP Youth community for disabled children in Mali.

Langhe Sono una delle Più belle, caratteristico e Affascinante Luoghi in Italia , noti per il Loro vino e paesaggio forestale. Una Combinazione di paesaggi mozzafiato, con aspre colline Che degradano verso pendii Più dolci, Completamente ricoperto da vigneti. Dalla cima della montagna la vista si estende alla catena alpina al di là del Massiccio del Monte Rosa , tanto Che'Nelle giornate limpide le distanze scompaiono e SEMBRA Essere scenario Uno meraviglioso e incredibile.

Il territorio Offre Anche ottimo cibo, vino e decine di casi in cui gusto e bere il cibo e Il Vino locale (Moscato, Barolo, Barbaresco, Tartufi).

Un territorio "ancora selvaggia, Anche se trasformata dall'uomo" con pendenze ottimali per this tipo di Competizioni sportive. Sulla pista si trovano sentieri, strade sterrate, strade sterrate vigneti, boschi e piccoli Villaggi con Una Vegetazione lussureggiante. Il percorso di e impegnativo ma eseguibile senza Sezioni a vista, Adatto per chi è ben addestrato.

Le tre gare, Che prendono il nome i romanzi di Cesare Pavese, Tutti Partono Dalla piazza Umberto I, un S. Stefano Belbo:

  1. Lavorare stanca, 54 km e 2800 m D + un Dalle Partire 7:30 del mattino (96% del percorso e Su strade sterrate e sentieri). Gara di qualificazione per l'Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® - This gara fa parte del Grand Prix IUTA ultratrail 2018 e il Circuito di solidarietà Corto Race ( "Corro per trovare la cura").
  2. Paesi tuoi, una 21 km 1100 m D + un Dalle Partire 09:30 (il 96% del percorso e Su strade sterrate e sentieri).
  3. Sali Scendi, una 10 km 550 m D + Competitivo NON. A Partire alle ore 10.00.

Altre attività:

  • A causa Walking nordici sentieri, a 21 km e 11 km, una Dalle Partire 10:15.
  • Vino e passeggiate alimentari percorso, Organizzato in 5 tappe Tra vigneti e aziende agricole Ai partecipanti di degustare i prodotti locali Combinati con un ottimo vino. Partenze alle ore 10.30.
  • Bambini Fun Run, alle ore 11.00 Presso la Piazza Santo Stefano Belbo, un percorso a causa Chilometri Attraverso il centro storico per Tutti i bambini ragazzi fino a Bon 13 anni.

E intenzione degli organizzatori, ASD Dinamico centro, di combinare in modo chiaro lo sport e la solidarietà in questa Competizione. Così, l'evento fa parte del CCS (cortocircuito Solidarietà) s '30 percorso gare, e sono impegnati a donare parte del ricavato 2018 in Azioni di solidarietà per costruire una costruzione di una maternità.

Beginner

Elevation: Very little change < 500 metres. Benign running terrain, not technical.

Suitable for: First ultra runners completing a marathon or doing regular long distance running in the last six months.

Intermediate

Elevation: Increase of up to 1000 metres

Suitable for: Runners who have completed at least one ultra distance race (or similar event) or are doing long distance running (>26 miles) regularly, with elevation shown.

Advanced

Elevation: Increase of up to 1500 metres

Suitable for: Runners who have completed several ultra distances or similar events, or are doing long distance running regularly, with elevation shown.

Expert

Elevation: Increase of up to 2000 metres with some challenging climatic conditions (e.g. ice, snow, humidity or heat) and or technical terrain

Suitable for: Experienced runners who have completed at least regular ultra distances in last 12 months, or are doing regular long distance running (>50 miles) with elevation and conditions shown (where possible). Admission to these races may be subject to evidence of recent qualifying race participation and recent medical examination certificate. Check with the race organiser regarding entry requirements.

Brutal

Elevation: Increase of up to 2000 metres with very challenging climatic conditions (e.g. ice, snow, humidity, heat or at high altitude) and or technical terrain.

Suitable for: Very experienced long distance ultra runners (min 3 years’ experience) or are doing regular long distance running (>50 miles) with elevation and conditions shown (where possible). Admission to these races is often subject to evidence of recent qualifying race participation and recent medical examination certificate. Purchase of specialist kit is often recommended for these races.

Endurance - Multi-activity

Type: An ultra distance race including at least two of the following activities such as running, swimming, cycling, kayaking, skiing and climbing. It may also include different climatic conditions (eg ice, snow, humidity, cold water, mud or heat).

Suitable for: Experienced multi-skilled athletes who have trained for the different activities included in this event. Admission to these races may be subject to receipt of a recent medical examination certificate. Check with the race organiser regarding entry requirements and any specialist equipment required such as a wetsuit, skis or a mountain bike.

Global - Virtual

Type: A virtual race which can be run at any time shown on the dates shown, on any type of terrain in any country.

Suitable for: For runners from beginners to experienced as you choose your own course and challenge based on the guidelines and options set by the virtual race organiser.
