20 May 2018 After the shortest race of UTH 2017 ( Visegrád Trail 29km ) I knew, I come hier back for a longer distance. In 2018 they had a new race the "Szentlászló" trail of 84 km. I never ever ran a distance longer than 42 km. It was a crazy idea, I know but I felt I have to do this. With a very busy job, it was not so simpel , I thought. And it was so. I get injured and the preparation for the race became a nightmare. I started anyway, it was my dream. The organisation was very good. I knew it already from last year. It was perfect from the start to yhe finish. It was very well organized as well for the kids, as for the another races. The CREW is AMAZING ! They are everywhere to help you, to support you mentally, too . And yeh, the trail its self. IT IS GREAT ! I grew up in Hungary, and I know there are very beautifull woods and trails , but it was above my proposion. The partially extremely steep trails through the deep forest will stay in my mind very long. The planning of the trail is very easy to follow. They use a reflected stripes so you can them see from far. If you get lost, than it is only your fault. So, I started and ,...... onfortunally I didn't it finished. I stopted at 78km. It was only 6km more to go, but I knew that the last km's was on asfalt and my legs won't do this anymore. I I have waived. But I knew it at the start, yet. I have still regret and just why I will go back in 2019 ! And for the crew led by Csanya ! In short : It is an AMAZING race, killer climbs, deep downhill track , beautiful pads ! Be there ! Check it !
