The Virtual Tyndrum 24 takes place between midday Saturday 1st August and midday Saturday 8th August. The event has 3 timed options - 6hr, 12hr and 24hr and the goal to is to complete that many hours in the week either on foot or on wheels (wheelchair, bike, scooter, but not motorised or e-bike).

Further to seeing how many miles you can cover, in the spirit of the Tyndrum 24 race each competitor is challenged to a photo competition. The photo themes are water, fire and nighttime, with winners chosen by our sponsors.

Upload photos to either the facebook group, tag our instagram or twitter with the hashtag #VT24 and tag our sponsors @Wildhighlandsltd and @beta_running.

Please follow Government guidance regarding social distancing when carrying out all activities. For all info and guidance please visit https://www.wayoutside.co.uk/tyndrum-24-virtual

The Virtual T24 is being held in memory of our friend and fellow ultra-runner Mark Thornberry who passed away on the 14th June this year. Mark has nearly met his goal to raise over £100k by running and organising ultra marathons while undergoing cancer treatment to fund life saving liver cancer research.

We have kept the cost of the event to a miniman as we would like to ask those who can to donate to his charity. You can donate here and read Mark’s story: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-display/showROFundraiserPage?userUrl=MarkThornberry&pageUrl=2
