Mince Pi Run
There are mince pies a-plenty and up to 10 laps of Pi... The Mince Pi run is a 3.14 mile off-road lap in Surrey. Entrants can choose to run anywhere from 1-10 laps or a marathon distance. There are special awards for anyone completing a marathon or the 31.4 mile ultra. All entrants receive a bespoke Pi Pie medal as well as actual mince pies.

The event actively encourages ultra runners to sign up, with 10 laps/31.4 miles being the most popular distance. There is a also a 1-mile fun run for the kids, so this can be a family event. We have 15 runner reviews of the race, all awarding it 4 or 5 stars, so this promises to offer bags of festive fun. Last year, 19 runners completed 10 laps - can more of you do it this year? Good luck to all taking part on Sunday.

RE:Mince Pi Run
I hope all the Mince Pi runners had fun last weekend. The results are now available and 11 runners completed 10 laps (31.4 miles) to receive an ultra award. These were the fastest three people to complete the ultra distance:

1. Joe Spraggins - 4:10:29
2. Doug Fitzsimon - 4:10:36
3. Fumiaki Imamura - 4:54:00

Deena Jones was the only female to complete the ultra distance and finished in 5:23:30.
