Saltmarsh 75
Saltmarsh 75 takes place over 2 days during which runners and walkers experience the Saltmarsh Coast. Starting in South Woodham Ferrers in Essex on Saturday 7th October, entrants complete 38 miles on day one and 36 miles on day 2. The coastline includes clifftops, the remote Dengie Peninsula, shingle beaches, coastal villages and the site of the Battle of Maldon. Competitors will also see the oldest Christian chapel in England (St. Peter's) and thousands of birds who migrate to the mudflats for the winter.

This race is popular with ultra runners of all levels of experience. Good luck if you are running and please share any tips if you are familiar with the race or the route. It would also be great to get some more runner reviews of this race, so please leave us a review to let us know what you thought of the experience.

RE:Saltmarsh 75
Well done to everyone who took part this weekend. The Saltmarsh team were happy to welcome Colin Harper across the finish line first - he has completed the race every year since its first running in 2013 and thoroughly deserved his win. These were the podium finishers and overall times:

1. Colin Harper - 11:50:34
2. Peter Chubb - 12:01:17
3. Damian Barrett - 12:26:25

1. Jackie Stretton - 13:01:54
2. Georgia Herron - 16:43:39
3. Sharon Webb - 17:08:19

Jackie is also a Saltmarsh veteran and that is an incredible lead over the other women! If you took part in the race, it would be great if you could leave a review here: https://www.runultra.co.uk/Events/Saltmarsh-75#reviewSection

Thank you
