CTS Dorset
Tomorrow's (2nd December) Coastal Trail Series Dorset takes place on the Jurassic Coastal Path. The start and finish point is at Lulworth Cove and runners have 5 distance options: 6, 16, 27, 33 or 45.5 miles. The Ultra and Ultra Plus options involve additional loops past the start to extend the 27 mile course. Our fifteen runner reviewers have all given this race 4 or 5 stars, but several mention the mental strength involved in having to pass the start and carry on. The Ultra Plus 45.5 mile option has over 8000 feet of ascent. Endurance Life has rated the terrain as 'extreme' - one of only 2 of their events to rank at this level of difficulty. It looks like the views are worth the effort. Good luck if you are taking part and let us know how you get on.
