Tor des Géants
Tor des Géants is an incredible 200 mile race with 24000 metres of ascent starting and finishing in Courmayeur, Italy along the Alta Via 1 and Alta Via 2 of the Valle d'Aosta. Five hundred mountain runners from 66 countries will set off on Sunday along the paths at the foot of the highest Alpine four-thousanders in and through the Gran Paradiso National Park and Mont Avic Regional Park. They have up to 150 hours to complete the race, but there are no official 'stages'. A unique selling point of this event is that entrants choose when, where and how long to rest.

This year's competitors include Joe Grant and GB ultra runner Debbie Martin-Consani. It should make for exciting tracking!

RE:Tor des Géants
Congratulations to Great Britain's Debbie Martin-Consani from Team Montane for completing the race in 127:32:59 - nearly 98 hours longer than she has spent running in one go before. A fantastic performance from a deservedly popular lady.
