Patagonian Expedition Race
From 17th-30th November, teams of 4 will run, trek, climb, kayak and mountain bike around 701km/435 miles through the Magdallanes and Chilean Antarctic regions of Patagonia. This race is described by the organisers (Nigsa) as 'the adventure at the end of the world'. It has also been billed as:

- One of the 'ten great races in amazing places' - National Geographic
- 'the world's toughest adventure race' - Reuters
- 'the world's wildest race' - Telegraph

Teams will self-navigate the remote southern Patagonian region. The route changes every year but is likely to include plains, mountains, glaciers, forests and swamps and will definitely involve harsh and unpredictable weather. Nigsa state that this race 'changes lives'. It's a bold claim and we currently have no runner reviews of this event but would love to hear from anyone who has previously taken part - did it change your life?
