Ultra Asia – Results

The Ultra Asia is a 160km race and 6000m D+ that takes place at the end of March in Vietnam. In its second edition, 17 competitors lined up to start, from a variety of countries such as Vietnam, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Brazil and Mexico.

This year’s winner was local, Quang Tran, who won the race in 17h 33’ 45” breaking the 2016 record set by Italian Katia Figini by over 90 minutes. Second place and first female was claimed by Italian runner, Ita Marzo, in 20h 19’ 40”. Third place was for another Italian, Manrico Marcozzi, in 22h 54’ 14”.

The race is broken down into four stages of 31km, 49km, 36km and 44km and starts at the village of Mai Châu.
