Graglia becomes first Italian to win Badwater 135 Ultramarathon

Michele Graglia has taken the coveted first place at this year’s Badwater 135 Ultramarathon with a finishing time of 24:51:47. He is the first Italian ever to take the title and there was some pretty fine rejoicing from the Italian community.

Controversy rages over Hardrock 2018 results

Jeff Browning, a 46-year-old from the USA, is the winner of this year’s Hardrock Hundred Endurance Run, following the sensational disqualification of France’s Xavier Thévenard who had a lead of around an hour up till his dismissal.

If the definition of a tough ultra is one that is so hard that no-one can finish it under the time limit, then the Barkley Marathons wins. This year, as has been the case so many times before, there were no successful runners at Lazarus Lake’s crazy-a** run. And it was not for want of trying.
