SCOTT Vector Sunglasses review

Summer is here and sunglasses are a must-have item for most ultra runners. I tried out these Scott Vectors in absolutely ideal conditions for a real work out – hot, humid, very windy, Moroccan beach runs. There was plenty of glaring sun and pouring sweat to test them to the max.

Still Not Bionic – Ira Rainey book review

Still Not Bionic is the second book by Ira. His first, ‘Fat Man to Green Man: From Unfit to Ultramarathon’ was well received. Relentless Forward Progress - Bryon Powell book review

I bought Relentless Forward Progress early in my ultra running days. I’d “run” (read: walked / hobbled / crawled / cried) my way across the Atacama on my first ultra and returned to the UK realising that I needed to add some sort of structure to my training if future events weren’t to follow a similar painful path.
