If you are going to be spending more than an hour or two out on the trail, you will almost certainly need to carry some kind of hydration pack or system.

Grivel Mountain Runner Comp 5L Pack Review

By Seth Grotzke

Part of my ultra training involves getting lost in the mountains. Here is where the Grivel Mountain Runner Comp 5L pack comes into play. I needed a way to carry enough food, water, and emergency equipment to survive my frequent forays into the mountains of northern Spain.

Orange Mud Endurance Pack 4L - V2.0 Review

By Alice Morrison

Since a hydration pack is a real necessity for the longer runs, it is always good to test out something different. Orange Mud was a new company to me as they are lesser known in the UK than in the US. Their packs are dual purpose: running and mountain biking and there is good volume for water.

Ronhill hydration vests review

Ultimate Direction Ultra Vesta review

The Ultra Vesta is part of Ultimate Direction’s Jenny Collection which is designed by women for women under the aegis of lead designer Jenny Jurek. Like a lot of women, I struggle to find the perfect back pack/hydration pack because they are mainly designed for men who obviously have broader shoulders, wider backs and flatter chests.
