Ronhill Women’s Trail Cargo Tank review

When I think of Ronhill, I think of the classic (and brilliant) running/hiking leggings that are so ubiquitous with the hill walkers and fell runners of the UK so I was really interested to try out their new Pure Running range.

PROS: What’s good about the Women’s Trail Cargo Tank

The design of the tank is very good. It is long enough and covers your lower back and doesn’t ride up – the runner’s bane.

The fabric is thick and stretchy enough to give good coverage and support.

Sometimes underarm rubbing can be a problem with a tank but not in this case and it was very comfortable to run in.

I liked all the details on the tank like the key fob pocket (or shuffle holder!) on the shoulder and the stash pockets.

CONS: What’s not so good about the Women’s Trail Cargo Tank

I am a size 14 so I can’t run without a proper running bra, therefore the built in support feature was not for me. I actually quite liked the extra support and it didn’t rub even after a long run but I would still not be able to go bra-less so found it unnecessary.

Although I liked all the added features, the gel loops were a little fussy and didn’t add that much to the tank.

The top is treated with Polygiene to keep it odour free but this is a tall order when you are running in 28 degrees plus.

CONCLUSION

A very comfortable and good-looking top. It was supportive without being restrictive and I got a lot of compliments on the look of it from my running buddy.
