Mandy Davin started running to work 14 months ago and discovered that she enjoyed it. In March 2014 she decided to run for Charity Headway and set herself "a marathon a month". She originally planned to enter the 2016 MDS but tried her luck and applied for 2015. Other than the 50k ‘54321’ in Salisbury and Marathon des Sables she has never run more than 42km.
